  5. Welcome to the very first public release of TransAmiga.  After almost a
  6. year of work it is finally ready.  I enjoyed writing it, and plan to enjoy
  7. adding to it.
  8.  
  9. As the manual will explain, TransAmiga does not work up to it's full
  10. potential until you register it.  Until then, you will not be able to use
  11. FidoNet or doors, and a requester will have to be clicked after the BBS is
  12. started.
  13.  
  14. My testers and I have been working several months to get the bugs out, and
  15. I'd like to think we did a pretty good job.  But without a doubt there
  16. will be new bugs that people will be able to find.  I will do my best to
  17. correct bugs as quickly as possible and get updates out to my users, but
  18. to help me in this I would appreciate it if you could make your bug
  19. reports as detailed as possible.

  21. Please read the manual now, you will not be able to use TransAmiga without
  22. reading it (I would recommend you print it out, it's pre-formatted).  If
